​Kate O’Farrell NP-C graduated from Purdue in 2008 with her BSN in nursing. She worked on a fast-paced, intermediate care unit for 12 years. When her youngest went into Kindergarten, she decided to make the exciting step to become a family nurse practitioner. She went back to Purdue and graduated with her Master’s degree in 2020. Then in 2021 joined the Winfield Family Medicine team. She enjoys treating patients in the primary care setting, in addition to being certified to treat opioid addiction. She is passionate about mental health and building relationships with patients to help them in their health journeys. Outside of work, Kate enjoys spending time with her two kids and husband, swimming, and reading.
