Brittney E. Owen, NP-C attended Indiana Wesleyan University, graduating as a registered nurse in 2010. She began working at St. Mary's Hospital in the emergency room for 5 years and then in the cardiac unit for 18 months. During this time, she returned to Indiana Wesleyan University and graduated as a family Nurse Practitioner in 2015. Since that time, she has joined the Winfield Family Medicine team, where she is able to work side by side with her dad, Dr. Brent Jacobus. Brittney enjoys performing minor procedures, as well as the family practice atmosphere, which allows her to build relationships with her patients and their families, establish trust, and educate patients on prevention of health conditions. She married her college sweetheart, and they have 3 children.
